Vehicle description

This is my 1979 VW Bus that I am selling. I have owned it since 2003. I restored it back then. . (you can see what it looked like when I first got it in the pic with all the stickers on it). I was well on my way to finishing up the whole thing. . A/C etc. . when we moved from FL. to Louisiana. I left the Bus at our house in Florida to use as a beach buggy but as time went on the salt air started getting to it so I brought it here to our Louisiana house. I had all intentions to repair the rust but I bought an airplane and thats where my attention is directed. The mechanics of the bus are good. . Its powered by a 2.0 fuel injected engine. . the same motor used in the porsche 914. It has A/C on board which held pressure last time I pulled a vacuum on it. . I hadn"t tried to get it working yet. The starter has some issues, every now and then I have to jump the solenoid with a screwdriver but I have a retrofit kit that cures the problem. I haven"t installed it as of yet. I broke the rear driver window mowing the grass but I have a replacement one that will go with the vehicle as well as numerous nick nack parts that go with the bus. It mainly needs a good owner and some TLC. . Its biggest issue is the body rust. I bought an el cheapo muffler a while back and 1 year later it rotted and fell off. Don"t ever do that. It has a clear FL. title it runs and drives fine (a little loud with no muffler) and I will be happy to answer any questions one may have.I hate to see my Bus go but I"m trading my wheels for wings! The actual mileage is really unknown. Thanks for looking!
