Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1979 Volkswagen bus is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes can hold as long as needed. Exterior this bus is very well taken care of. If I’m not driving it it’s always in my garage. this bus has been completely restored by me. i’ve been doing autobody full time for 33 years.the original 2.0 L engine has been completely gone through it has 10,000 miles on it.New tinted and shaded windshield, new transaxles, front rotors, calipers, new hardware and pads in the back. New ball joints.I would drive this bus anywhere. The tires have 10,000 miles on them as well. The bus comes with everything you see in the picture it’ll come with the original tent,The front table, rear table the center box. I have all the original curtains that go inside around the windows they’re in perfect condition. I also have the child’s cot but I don’t have the rails that go with it.I put a rear hitch on it only to Hold a bicycle rack. I never pulled anything with the bus. The original refrigerator works, it should be hooked up to isolator so it doesn’t wear the engine battery down. The original cookstove is completely refurbished the tank the lines and valves it’s full of propane I’ve never used it didn’t want the bus smelling like bacon on the inside.I have all the brand new shifter linkage bushings that probably should be changed to shift like a brand new bus. just never got around to it. any other questions or pictures you want feel free to ask and I’ll get them out there. thanks for looking.
