About this vehicle This 1979 Volkswagen Beetle is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Speedometer reads 22978 not sure of actual mileage. Vehicle Details Chance to own this great 1979 convertible. Recent mechanical work done by a vw mechanic since who has been working on these cars since 1972. Work included all new brake system (new rubber lines, new brake shoes, new slave cylinder), new fuel system with new fuel tank, lines and sending unit, engine tuned up and rebuilt carb. Runs and stops. It has brand new floor boards and new TMI carpet kit. Newer top that is a few years old. New front window seal and door window scrapers. New empi shifter. Will need a paint job and minor body work but a great car you can enjoy as is or drive while you work on it! Feel free to ask any questions.
