Vehicle description

I have had this car for several years now and I just don"t have the time to devote to it that it needs. The car is located in Diana, TX and will be shown/shipped from there. The car runs and drives just fine and it has a clean and clear Texas title. The title shows this car to be a 1980 but the VIN and the door sill show it to be a 1979. This car is in decent shape for as old as it is and it looks to have been painted at some time, it was originally white and was painted white again from the looks of it, as there is some evidence of over spray in some places. There is what looks like some surface rust showing in some of the seams, nothing major but I want to give an accurate description of the car. There are many new parts:
Clutch
Stainless Steel exhaust
Visors
Console lid
Shift boot
Trunk seal and paint
Brake light gaskets
Rear brake cylinders (both)
Seats re-upholstered
New carpet
Battery
Spark Plugs
Rims
Tires
The car has a few things that need looked after, looks like there is a small radiator leak and the car runs rich so the carbs will need to be adjusted. Looks like the carbs were changed from SU to Weber at some point. The car is what I would call cold blooded and takes a while to warm up when first started. The choke has been changed out from an automatic to a manual, these cars had an issue with the automatic choke and changing it out to a manual fixes the problem. The headlights pop up and work but the passenger side needs a very light tap in order to go down. Emergency brake doesn"t appear to hold all that well so it probably needs adjusted as well. The hood looks like it doesn"t fit well in the photo and that is just because it is not closed all the way as I keep it on a battery tender in the garage and didn"t shut it all the way for the photos. The car has air conditioning but it does not work. The top has some stress marks at some of the snaps but does not have any holes or cuts. I am by no means an expert on the Triumph but I will try to answer any of your questions as best I can.
All in all this is a pretty good car and will make someone a nice retro vehicle, I just don"t have the time to work on it any further. The car runs and drives just fine but I would trailer it just in case. This car is a driver and not a trailer queen, it has some flaws, please bid on it as such.
I hope I am not forgetting anything, thanks and happy bidding.
