Vehicle description
For sale here is what we believe to be an Arntz Cobra kit from the late "70"s or early "80"s. Arntz was one of the first, if not the first, Cobra replica builder and was noted for high quality. Our identification of this as an Arntz kit is based on the heavy box section frame, the fact that it is designed for a Jag rear and MGB front suspension (both included), as well as photos we have seen of the Arntz cars.
Prospective bidder should note the following information. eBay vehicle listing requires a VIN, mileage, and title status. There are no identifying numbers we can find on the frame or body so we"ve entered zeros for these fields. We entered rebuilt/rebuildable for the title but this kit has no title and is sold on a bill of sale only. Many, if not most, states have a process for titling kit cars on completion of construction.
We acquired this kit from an estate and due to the passing of the previous owner, have no information regarding the engine other that knowing it is a small block Chevrolet backed up by a Muncie four speed transmission. All the fiberglass is in good condition with no breaks or cracks anywhere.
Thanks for looking.
