1979 Pontiac Trans Am.
This is an original California RUST free Trans AM . It is a perfect car to restore ! It comes with a strong running 403 engine and an automatic trans . I do believe they are original to the car .The Car has not been on the road for years so the fresh gas was and a little TLC was put into it and the car fired up and ran strong .The transmission seems to be solid . In addition , a new battery as well as a new master brake cylinder were put in . The cars brakes are working in front but will need more work in the back to get them to function right . The hood has a tweak in it that will need to be fixed to close properly as well as the bumper that has a tear in the plastic corner .So to be clear ,this is a running 1979 trans am that needs a little more TLC to drive on the road .In my opinion this is a car that deserves a complete restoration or can be made into a hot rod . The car is very solid and very straight car that appears not to ever be in any major accidents .
The car will come with with paperwork from Pontiac showing all the original options it came with . The car was repainted from Gold to red several years ago . These Rust free cars are VERY hard to find and this will make a perfect restoration project .
