Vehicle description
1979 MGB LIMITED EDITION - PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT ENGINE - ARIZONA CAR -FUN CAR!
This car has been meticulously maintained by the previous owner of 11 years. Like most classic cars it has not been driven much but it was always stored inside and well taken care of. The engine was rebuilt in 2011, the clutch replaced in 2014, new brakes, distributor, fuel pump and convertible top more recently. As an Arizona car there is no rust that I can find; clean and dry everywhere I look.
Engine was professionally rebuilt with a little bit of a cam and bore out as you can see from the build sheet. Starts right up, runs great and drives well. The car isn"t perfect as it is a 38 year old car but it has been well preserved. What I say about all classics; is they all have their leaks and creaks. The seats have a few tears and the paint has scratches, a few minor dents and chips. I can not think of anything this car needs other than to be driven with the top down.
Car will come with a clean Arizona Title. I am selling because I am using the sale of some of my classic cars to fund my daughters 529 account for college. I decided to start with those that I have recently acquired. This is a real nice example of a Limited Edition at a very fair price.
I have described this car to the best of my knowledge and no warranties have been expressed or implied. I would encourage you to come and see the car or to have inspected prior to purchase.
