Vehicle description
Rust free car. It is a project. It starts and runs. I bought it cause it was a clean frame with virtually no rust. Southern car. I do not have the time to work on it. So I am going to sell it to clear out some of the half projects. This car is being sold without a reserve. Mileage is unknown.
I have fixed an oil leak it had on the oil filter mount. Rebuilt carb. It is an aftermarket 2 barrel Weber. After market manifold. Aftermarket header. Electronic distributor, new NGK wires and plugs. Accel coil. Cleaned out the transmission and rear end of the original lube. After clean out, it was replaced with Mobil 1 gear oil at both locations. New tie rod ends,
New gas tank and fuel sender. Fuel pump is after market carter unit. The original is still mounted, but I did not try to operate the original pump. This car had wiring issues. I fixed all the open leads behind the dash and also under the hood. I still needs the lights to be worked on for the headlight, tail lights. I have the back up lenses but they are not mounted on the car.
Missing the soft top and frame. They are not too expensive on eBay. Windshield has 2 chip impacts and one has spidered. Dash is cracked as you can see from the picture and I never had a steering cowl cover. The exhaust was poorly done. Welding job was terrible. That needs to be re done. 2 holes are in the trunk, 1 was burned when the exhaust bracket was added. The other 2 are punched out. One was because it had a plastic marine tank in the trunk when I got the car. Now it has a own stock tank and sender (new).
Engine and drive train are in pretty good condition. It needs finishing to drive her around. I try to be as descriptive as possible. Please feel free to ask any questions. What is nice is the rust free body and a running project.
