“1. Body fully reconditioned, rust free. Repainted with original factory color. Very sound body. The car was good when I bought it because this car never lived where roads were salted.2. New convertible top. New carpeting and trunk lining. Recent seats/upholstery.3. Dash in good condition. Console and other interior parts good. 4. All new AM/FM stereo/CD player with new speaker system.5. Engine redone just before my purchase. I've done much more: All new engine seals. New radiator and hoses. New brakes (still squeak a bit breaking in). Rebuilt alternator. Came with new Pace header, new exhaust pipe and muffler. Weber Carb for easy start. Many new parts and receipts to prove all work.6. New battery. Extra, spare tire & jack; some extra small light bulbs. Some literature and owner's manual for the car.THIS CAR IS MECHANICALLY SOUND. EVERYTHING WORKS.” |

Vehicle description
I have bills to pay and other interests. Just when I have this car looking and running good. . I"ve decided to sell it.
As a hobby car, I"ve kept it garaged and babied it. Granted, it isn"t a "show" car. But is sure is easy to start and very dependable. Looks great when I take it out.
Good tires. Nothing actually necessary to do to it if you buy it.
I don"t expect to get all my $9,000 back, though that is what I actually spent with the purchase price and adding up the parts I bought and the work done on it.
When I bought it, I looked for a Carfax or VIN report. This car does not have a 17-digit VIN so good luck if you search for a full report. The VIN check I got verifies no issues of record. That"s good but that"s about it.
I bought it in 2013 from a fellow who owned it from 2007. He told me it was first sold in San Juan, PR, but showed me no other record of the car. I can say, however, that it appears to never have been north. The body was solid when I bought it, with no spots rusted through. Before I bought it and when I restored/repainted it, I made sure it was not a rust bucket!
Best of all, come drive it. Or have someone you trust visit to see it. We can take it to any garage you wish. But you can also BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
I will hold this car for you for up to 2 weeks (for free) after you pay in full. You can come here to get it.
I recommend you ship it any serious distance. It"s perfectly drivable but its 40 years old- a collectible car. If you drive it on a highway, don"t plan to push it over 60 for long! Don"t beat it up, please. Shipping is not that expensive. .
