About this vehicle This 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Just ask, anything, I have nothing to hide on the car. It’s a really very nice Vintage Mercedes-Benz. Vehicle Details This car has been in our family for a long time. It was driven weekly until 13 years ago. The last day it was driven my Dad had a stroke. He had driven the car to church that morning and while there he had the stroke. We had the car taken back home where it sat outside for a long time. It used to stay in the garage until then. This car is near perfect. Low mileage and only 2 owners that I know of. It’s heartbreaking that the paint and the dash suffered sun damage otherwise there would be almost nothing that would need to be done to it. Exterior Paint is faded and there’s a few places where’s there’s some surface rust. All panels are good n straight, absolutely no damage on the car. Everything works as it should. Interior Interior I would estimate to be an 8 out of 10. It’s near perfect. Has some cracking on the dash as well as a little discoloration from sun damage. All electrical features work properly. All glass is original. Leather is near perfect. Windows, locks, antenna and sunroof all work. Engine 68,578 original miles. Strong Fuel Injected V8. The Climate Servo is leaking a little antifreeze but the Servo is still working at this point. Engine and Transmission are in good mechanical condition. Car produces nice heat but the A/C system needs to be charged. Compressor is in good shape. Pretty clean engine bay. Overall very good mechanical condition. Download the Motors app
