Im proud to offer a super clean 1979 Mazda RX-7 for sale right now. When talking about Japanese sports car, it"s impossible not to mention the RX-7. Mazda first offered this car in 1978 with a revolutionary engine. The Wankel rotary was an engine that defied the norm with its design. The engine has no pistons, but rather a triangular rotor which rotates around the combustion chamber. The result is a much smaller displacement than the typical piston engine. This RX-7 sports a 1,146cc 12A rotary engine. This engine produced just over 100 horsepower, but was lightweight which allowed the car to have an incredibly balanced 50/50 weight distribution. The entire car was under 2,500 pounds, so there"s no doubt why they handle amazingly. This particular example is a well-maintained survivor that has spent its entire life in the Western United States, meaning you dont have to worry about a rusty frame. With only one owner and a clean Carfax history, this is one for a collector. In case you forgot you were in a sports car, the console houses the manual transmission shifter. Backing the 5-speed manual transmission is a limited slip differential. This is a true sports car which will continue to appreciate in value and one of the best cars to come out of the 80’s!
THE BACKGROUND The owner of this car was in a military for most of his life serving overseas and his mother took care of his car for him. This beauty has been well maintained at the dealer EVERYTHING on the car does work no issues
