Vehicle Details I am listing 2 of my project Jeep’s, the other is an 88 YJ on my other auction. This Jeep listed is a 1979 Jeep Wagoneer. I had this shipped to me from New Mexico with a seized engine. Since its arrival I replaced the 360 with a rebuilt 360 out of an 89 wagoneer. I personally love getting these older vehicles from out west and doing the basics of repair mechanically and cosmetically due to the minimum rust. This Jeep has a patch on the floor where the drivers heal lies but that is the extent of the major rust. Everything that you see is surface or cosmetic. I was attacking different areas of the vehicle at once so it’s a started but unfinished project. The grill and headlights are from an earlier model and the round headlight are just sitting in place do to a few needed parts but I need the vehicle to look complete to keep the landlord happy :-) The carpet kit from front to back is brand new and is properly installed. The headliner, door cards, seats were scheduled next but I’m selling without completing the interior. The tires are brand new BFG AT’s 30” mounted to the stock polished slots. The brakes do function but have not been gone through. The engine does start and runs good but we last left it that we still have some wires to figure out. The selenoid from the newer motor was different so we played around with the wires but left it you need to start the Jeep at the selenoid because with the keyed ignition it wants to keep starting while it’s already running. Because of this we did not test the trans or 4 wheel drive system. A lot of the hard work is complete but between all the projects, nice weather for camping coming, etc etc. .I would rather someone finish the Jeep and I cut my future time and expenses out. The title is still an open clean NM one and I can switch it to a PA title if needed but I would require 4 days time for it to process and come back to me. If you are familiar with the show longmire I am told it was on an episode and supposedly there is proof. I watched all the seasons in excitement and fell asleep or grabbed another beer when it was on there. I will include a Howell Fuel Injection unit that’s new in the box as well. I am sure there is stuff I’m missing so please ask, the rear power does work as well. It was needed to open to install the carpet kit so I did witness her functioning. I do have parts and different seats I was going to use that I can include as well. West Chester Pa 19382, needs to be trailered and I can assist with getting the vehicle on the trailer if needed.
