About this vehicle This 1979 International Scout II is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great. Vehicle Details Here is a 1979 international Scout 2 that came from Arizona and has original paint and drivetrain. It has many new updates and service including: New wheels and newer tiress, fuel sending unit, Interior carpet, carburetor, radiator, Water pump, u-joints, Ball joints, wheel alignment, oil sending unit, glove box liner, Valve cover gaskets, Transmission fluid and filter change, transmission band adjustment. I I’m sure of the original mileage. but the odometer reads 34XXX. But I just has great compression of approximate 140 psi on each cylinder and it has good oil pressure at hot idle. The transmission shifts great And does not have any noises or problems. The four-wheel-drive lockout hubs work great and the transfer case shifts through all the ranges. I had the driver seat reupholstered but the passenger and rear bench seats have original Upholstery. The carpet is new and I have some extra pieces that could go with it including the wheel wells and rear side panels. In regards to the body, being that it came from Arizona it is in great shape. The exterior body has no rust. However, floors have a small amount. Also, in the rear cargo area someone put shingles and tar on the cargo floor. Please see pictures for details.
