1979 GMC Sierra Grande 35. This truck was purchased 40+ years ago by my father-in-law and has been in the family ever since. He has passed away this year, so it is time to find a new home for this 1 ton, 454 cubic inch powered truck. The truck has been serviced all it"s life by Jim and Daves in Everson, WA. The engine was rebuilt about 20,00- miles ago (speedo reads 86,000). At that time it was blueprinted and balanced and runs accordingly. The body is in excellent condition, with very few signs of rust, as it was always parked under cover. The truck has port and starboard factory tanks. It also has a custom 80 gal tank behind the cab which was used for a trip to Alaska in the early 80"s. The dash hosts the controls to switch tanks and indicate appropriate fuel levels. I have only used the passenger side tank, so the others have been unused for a few years. The interior is stock, and hence shows age with cracked dash. Tires are in good condition with many miles remaining. The truck is located on San Juan Island, which is a 1 hour ferry ride from Anacortes, WA.This is a non-smoker truck with a clear title.
