Vehicle description
I HAVE OVER 3000 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS and am 150% honest. I’ve sold two previous cars of mine on EBay and never had one complaint. This is my 1979 F100 Ranger XLT Long Bed truck with a 302 and Air-conditioning. The truck was 95 % rust free. Look at the pictures of it when I got it. There was rust under the trim around the rear wheel wells when I took them off and the inner wells looked lousy. It had 66,000 original miles and as you can see from the pictures had a mint interior never smoked in by the owner. I should have just driven it as it was for years to come! ! Instead I decided to restore it. First I stripped the entire truck (every piece including the frame) to bare metal. (See pictures that means everything even under the dash, underneath the bed and cab, EVERYTHING was bare metal. I used Por 15 on the frame, the underside of the bed and the cab. (See Pics). The truck was 100% stripped of everything. The parts I am listing were primed and sanded and re-primed and sanded three times. The Entire Cab everything inside and out has three coats. The doors, Fenders, radiator support, hinges, glove box, inner fender wells, etc. (EVERYTHING ON THE CAB EXCEPT THE HOOD IS DONE) THE parts are Ready for a last sanding and then paint. I put sound deadener on the floors and the cab roof. The hood is bare metal completely sanded. The Bed: I bought new bed sides because of the small amount of rust mentioned above. I wanted new bed sides, others might have cut and fixed the originals but I decided to go to LMC Truck. I also bought new rear fender wells and a rear pan for bumper delete. The entire bed was also sanded which was stupid because I did all that work and then bought new bed sides. The bed floors and everything are sanded. The underside of the bed was treated with Por 15. The motor is original and runs perfect. I took all of the wiring out and my son mistakenly threw it away. It needs a Painless Wiring System. I bought a brand new nut and bolt kit and now the truck is at a stand still. I had shoulder replacement surgery and it went bad. I need another surgery and am not going to have use of my arm for over a year. The truck is going. I have one completed toy a 1965 Mustang 347 Stroker with a supercharger thank god! ! I have over 75 pictures of the work I’ve done so far email me to see them. I’m not giving the truck away. If you can finish it then you know between the man hours, materials, primer and new brand new parts I have real money into this truck and I paid $6000 when I bought it. I will piss on it and burn it before I sell it cheap so forget it. Be serious or be gone.
