1979 F150 Custom 4x4 390 V8, 4-Speed Manual
This is a very nice and enjoyable 1979 Ford F150 Custom. This truck turns heads and is a blast to drive. This truck can be driven daily and handles interstate/highway driving with ease. This truck just turned over 78,000 original miles and has been taken care of and maintained. The truck is solid and accident free with zero panel replacement. The 390 FE big block was installed in the place of the original 351M and has roughly 7,000 miles on it now. The 4-speed is original to the truck and was refurbished at the time of the motor swap. The motor is strong but quiet, and was definitely an upgrade from the factory 351m. The paint on the truck is slick and is very presentable (its hard to capture the quality in a photograph with this truck). This truck is used and still being enjoyed so expect normal wear from being driven. The interior is mostly new and very clean. The wheels and tires are fresh and flow well with this truck. The Power Brakes have been updated and are in great shape. A sliding back glass was installed when the truck was painted. The chrome is in excellent shape. The rear bumper is new. The front bumper and grille shell are still original to the truck and are in great shape (however the grill shell has the slightest imperfection up top on the driver side. The chrome grille insert is new. The larger chrome on the front windshield was installed out of preference. I will be happy to provide pictures of the frame mounts, cab corners, and undercarriage.
