1979 Dodge D50 with the SPORT package, that included the 2.6 Mitsubishi 4 cylinder engine! (G54B engine code) Odometer reads 15041, I do not know exactly how many miles on on this truck I"ve done a few things over the last few months since I"ve acquired it. It has a new alternator ,ignition coil, fuel pump, radiator, cylinder head valve seals ,drive belt , new front brake pads, new tires on it , new RH tail lamp lense and fresh engine oil and filter. There is a spot in the engine harness that has been repaired, a rodent had eaten into a spot sometime over the years it was sitting, it appears to have been sitting for about 12 years when I purchased it. I noticed when changing the valve seals the head is an updated version as it no longer has the troublesome jet valve setup on it and the head was very clean! The choke and secondary diagfram where locked up on the carb when I got it. I removed those items and cleaned up the carb as good as I could to get it running. ( I have the factory air cleaner). I have an extra carb you might be able to use parts off to fix this carb that will be included in sale. The A/C compressor is off the truck, but I have it. Paint is weathered from sitting out in the open for years and enduring the elements, ive noticed the passenger side seems to have weathered more, im guessing the passenger side took most of elements and sun. I tried to provide close up pics of passenger side. There are no majors dents and ive see no rust through or rot out on the truck, it appears solid. Interior appears to be all there and original. Expect interior to need attention if your wanting to restore, Carpet worn, dash pad has a few cracks, etc. i just had the Texas safety inspection done, put tags and insurance on the truck. I have driven this truck back and forth to work , besides the carb having a non working choke and an off idle flat spot at times, the Engine runs fine with good oil pressure and the transmission shifts as it should I also found out recently the fuel guage does not operate correctly, it stays around E even when filled. I have a Clear Texas Title in my name, I have the owners manual and a few repair manuals that will come with the truck. This truck runs and drives but personally I have only driven it back and forth to work some. I would get it shipped or bring a trailer for pickup.
