This is a 1979 Ford Mustang Cobra in need of restoration. Someone started to restore the car several years ago and abandoned the project. There is no title for this car. Again no title, just a bill of sale. The car has never been wrecked or repainted.It is missing the air cleaner, fan and shroud, A/C compressor and various pieces of trim. I have an excellent hatch to replace the original damaged one. I also have another hood that is included in the auction. The odometer is showing 37451, so I am assuming it has turned over and is most likely 137451. There is not a lot of rust to be repaired in this Cobra. I think it is definitely worth the time and effort to restore. Be aware that this is not a car that you are going to work on for a couple of weekends and have on the road. It needs a complete restoration. This car is sold as is. It can stay here for a reasonable amount of time while transportation is being arranged, but it must be paid within seven days of auction"s end. Buyer is responsible for transportation. This is a no reserve auction. I reserve the right to end the auction early in the event that it sells locally.
