This listing is for a Rare 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that was a Special Factory Order by the first owner. It was made to look just like the Coupe DeVille featured in the 1979 sales brochure (That I am Also Including). The first owner ordered $4133.00 of options and that included the rare and expensive fuel Injection option. (Please See Window Sticker). I bought the car from the original owner on December 20 1993 and have only driven it 56,000 miles the past 27 years. The odometer is showing 28350 miles but it has turned over once so the actual mileage is 128350 miles. The car was sold new in Hayward California and never been outside California. Unfortunately, the sun has taken a toll on the paint, headliner and some cracking of the leather. The bumper fillers were replaced about 5 years ago but they have not been painted. The vinyl top was replaced about 20 years ago and is still in good condition. The body is straight, chrome is excellent and the car has never been in an accident. The car passed CA smog check inspection three month ago and it drives very well. This car can very easily be restored back to it"s original beauty and with it"s documentation become a collector"s car. I just don"t have the time and energy anymore and have finally decided to sell it. Known Issues: AC Compressor Needs A New Clutch (System Is Charged with R12) was working before the clutch went out.
