Vehicle description
This is my 8th and 9th VW bus I have owned and I am sad to see them go. The green bus is the nicer of the two and the brown bus can be a donor bus for parts you might need. These buses were part of a TV show shot here in Kentucky along with a bunch of others. If you click on the video link, you will see a little of me and how I used these buses. This green bus is named Figge and he is the "bad influence" bus in my program that get"s my other buses in trouble. The rust is needed to have this bus appear on TV as unkept, not as good at presenting himself, kind of like Pig-Pen from Peanuts.
This bus drives great! Out of all the buses I have owned, this engine runs the best. It is fast, shifts great and you will see a 0-60 in the video above. I have had this bus for 6 years now and I have let it set mostly, only starting and driving it twice a year to keep it running. It has been driven a lot this last year as I am trying to sell it. Always starts, new battery, and make no mistake, you will need to do a lot of work to get this into tip-top shape. I kept is like it is because I needed it to look this way on camera. It has 4 year old tires with less than 200 miles on them.

It will start and drive when you come to see it. I wouldn"t drive it a long distance because I haven"t driven this bus for more than an hour. I recommend having it towed or transported. This bus comes with a tow bar that connects to the front axle, but I only tow my buses on city streets with the tow bar, not on highways. I use tow dolly"s from U-Haul for highway transportation.
