Up for auction is my 1978 VW bus. Got it traded to me about 14 months ago. Didn"t run. It turned out to be quite the bus. It has all original paint and interior! I first rubbed it out and liked the surface rust patina. This van has THREE holes in it . look at the last THREE pictures. 1 the right rear quarter from the battery tray( they all do this one) 2 the bottom of the front passenger door they left a mouse nest sit there over time( cant see it from outside) 3 in the driverside fenderwell does not go thru to inside( not seen this rust area before). other than those its just surface rust. Lots of original blue paint underneath! I put in new windshield with new rubber, the track is perfect under the rubber. all new tires 0 miles. new front calibers. all new rear brakes. all new shocks. front end has new center link and the new pressed in bushing and pin kit on the axle center. The interior is great , even interior lights work with sliding door! I took out engine and put in new pistons and jugs with NEW heads. Its carberated, new battery, has original exhaust but I put on a glass pack in place of the old muffler( sounds great). There"s no radio. the bumpers are Brizo Aluminium out of seattle, found them on ebay thought they were cool! This was an original air conditioned van, only thing that was in the van was the condensers underneath. have them if you want them with the van. Clear title.
