Vehicle description
We have had this van for 5 years and loved all our adventures but our family has sadly outgrown it. The miles are at 28,943 and the engine was rebuilt in 2011 at 17,000 miles by Northwest Connecting Rod. (Paperwork included) Interior is the original Riviera Camper Build (as opposed to the Westfalia Camper Build) and we haven"t had any issues with the engine. I did recently have the alternator and both batteries replaced and bought 4 new camper grade tires in 2014. We have parked the van in a garage for 4 of 5 years during ownership (but moved last year to a location without a garage, another factor in needing to sell). There are a few scratches, dings etc which is to be expected when you"re 40, but overall the body and paint are in great shape.
The camper build out features a pop-top that sleeps a small adult or child. It also features a small electric refrigerator, indoor electrical outlets (to charge cell phones etc) and external electrical hookups for extension cord use for longer trips at RV sites. Additionally, there is a 2-burner propane stove, a propane heater with external tank and a sink with external in/out water hook ups. In terms of furniture the back and front seats have functional seatbelts and the back seat converts to a bed that sleeps 2 adults. There is a pop up table and counter for rainy weather card games and indoor meals as well as plenty of cabinet storage for non-perishables, blankets, kitchen supplies and whatever you need to store to be able to get out of town with minimal effort. The fabric in the interior seats is the original awesome brown/orange/white 70"s plaid.
We hope to find a good home for this fantastic campervan.
