1978 Custom Built Long Hood Hot Rod Project Car
1970s Convertible * 350 V8 * Positraction * Rat Rod * Hotrod * NO RESERVE
This project was started in the early 1980s. The frame originally came from a 1978 Chevrolet El Camino with around 10,000 miles. The shell and interior are from a low-mile, rust-free early 1970s MG midget. As you can see both have been extensively modified when this car was fitted with an impressively long hood. The hood and the body shell are steel. All 4 fenders are fiberglass. It has Chevrolet 350 engine, 350 transmission, a positraction rear end, power steering, and power brakes. The car does not run, but the motor turns over freely. The floor mats, interior parts, and drive shaft are in the trunk, but not pictured. The brand new wire wheels and tires were installed in the early 80s. The car has been sitting in a garage ever since.

When you come to pick up the vehicle, if you feel that it was misrepresented, you do not need to buy it. All we ask is that you pay us $50 to relist the vehicle. We feel that is very reasonable, and it is very important to us that the winning bidder is satisfied with the vehicle.
