This is a Replica of a 1927 Bugatti 35b. First off, this is a daily driver if desired. The fiberglass body was made in 1978 and was found and purchased by me in 2007. The front end has dropped spindles, lowering it 2.5" and keeping stock suspension. Tires are all in great shape. The transaxle and motor were removed from a 1968 beetle. Transaxle works well, and is a four speed. The motor is super strong, no smoke, 1600cc single port 4cylynder except for burn outs! (It does burn outs). New master cylinder reservoir, new carburetor, filter, fuel lines, oil filter, oil, fuel pump. This vehicle has an aftermarket cooling system for the oil, and an external oil filter. The chassis is a custom steel fabricated frame to hold front and rear end. Solid, no rust issues. There are some things I could fix but then I will ask for more money in sale. I am thinning my collection. These photos were taken last week. I did not even wash it. The shift linkage bushing needs to be replaced. The fuel filler needs to be redesigned, you have to fill the tank slowly . It gets almost 25 miles to the gallon. All gauges work but not all are wired up and being used. This is a easy project to finish up and show. Reserve is 5.5K. Of course selling "as is" this is a 40 year old roadster! you will love it. Also seat is constructed but upholstery has not been completed. There is 13,000 miles on kit build, but motor mileage is unknown. Clean Title in hand.
