Vehicle Details 1978 Pontiac Trans Am for sale. This is the original Pontiac 400 motor in the car with the original automatic transmission. Car is in really nice shape and has been well maintained. I bought the car from the second owner who purchased it in 1979 at only a year old. The car has never seen a winter and was always garaged kept. The underneath is super clean and this car runs amazing. The car was repainted awhile back since it was originally lacquer paint. It is now base coat clear coat with the original color. I would rate the paint an 8.5/10. A new exhaust along with the wheels being re-done was previously done to the car. Also has newer tires. Serious buyers only.
