I acquired this car from my neighbor who had been restoring it for about a year and a half. He was a well-qualified MG mechanic and had built an MGB V8 previous to restoring this car. I was able to purchase the car when he had to move. The car is an Arizona car with no rust. It has been lowered to pre 1975 specs. It is easier to note what has not been done than to list everything that has been put into this car. The engine and front end were rebuilt. I installed an overdrive transmission. New gas tank, radiator, fans, electronic ignition, hoses, tires, clutch, brakes, performance exhaust header are all new. It is fitted with a Weber carb, and I have all the original, and many new parts in boxes that will go with car. It has a new interior, complete new dash and console, and a canvas top and tonneau cover. Wood steering wheel, tool kit, lenses, molding are all new. I had the car painted the original color at the best shop in the area. Between myself and the previous owner, the car has a fortune invested in it. It is as reliable as an MG can be. My lose will be someone’s gain. It is a blast to drive with the overdrive trans. Selling only because I have too many cars and don’t drive it enough.
