1978 MGB Sportster. Recently painted Corvete Yellow. Runs great. Always babied and was never smoked in. I also have the original ash tray that is currently out. Car is not perfect, but pretty close. Many new and nearly new parts on this eye catching car. No rust, and always covered or garaged. This was not a full restoration, but I have put hundreds of hours into getting this car to this stage. I hate to part with it but I"m hoping someone will get the enjoyment I have got out of it.
Has a clean title.
I will list the pros and the cons below. Drives nice and the shocks are in good shape. No rust (california car) and has a little area in the passenger side rear professionally repaired (some bondo was used, but done well). Have got nothing but good things said about this car in the years I have owned it.
Car is presently on a non-op, and will need to be smogged by the buyer if it is to be driven in California. Also will need to be picked up at my location. I am about 60 miles north of Los Angeles. It is the buyers responsibility to do the above.

Car is fitted with a pioneer stereo and speakers that sound great. Has wood vernier paneling on the dash panel, and all gauges work (even the clock). Transmission is smooth and clutch is strong. Replaced the solenoid for the clutch recently. All brakes rebuilt as well as the master cylinder. New radiator and fan switch on radiator with new fan and a custom designed shroud. Car runs very cool. New electronic ignition module, alternator, battery, fuse block, relays, tires (near new), exhaust (a little bigger diam. made it sound throatier), muffler, catalytic converter. Custom air cleaner for the dual SU HS4 carbs, which are not stock. These carbs are awesome when tuned correctly (as they are now) and those along with the manifold are easy to sell for good money if you revert to the original one. I do have the original zenith carb and manifold, that are included. Also have the original exhaust manifold and other needed components for Calif emissions that will be included in the sale. Comes with a tonneau cover and a soft top. The soft top has been repaired but is still in good condition. Will include a luggage rack that I took off prior to paint. Have some parts and misc stuff (whatever I can find in my garage). All lights work. Signals and horn too. Comes with an alarm installed and two paging remotes. Good spare tire and cover and original jack. New carpet. Gas tank was removed and thoroughly cleaned and sealed with a porcelain coating. Nice wood original steering wheel ( i have a wrap on it now). New heater hoses, heater works and doesn"t leak, water pump is new as are radiator hoses. New intake and exhaust gaskets. Sound insulation under hood to hold down any engine noise (better than original). Thermostat, fan belt, plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor and coil. New oil, and Lucas (which I have always put in all my cars). No rips or tears in the seats, and the dash is nice. All windows work fine and are not cracked or chipped. Mirrors are orig and in good shape. Car comes with a custom car cover as well.
I smogged this car 4 or maybe more years ago, and decided not to the next time it was due as it would need to have the original components put back on, and I had just got another sports car. It starts right up, idles great and runs smooth.
