This vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition, and looks great cosmetically.
It was previously painted, rust free.
This 1978 MGB Flame red paint body is perfectly straight, it"s rust-free and the paint is in fine condition. Under the hood, the engine bay is clean and tidy.
There is a subtle upgrade of a K&N air filter.
Climbing into the cockpit and you get the feeling of sitting fairly high.
Everything is simple and to the point. All the instruments and controls working perfectly.
The engine starts easily, shows good oil pressure.
On the move this MGB feels responsive and the suspension is tight. The gear gate is precise, typically MG, and the overdrive switch sits conveniently in the top of the gear knob.
I enjoyed this MGB so much that I used it for 4 weeks before offering it for sale, and it"s clearly in good mechanical health.
The rack and pinion steering is nicely weighted, and free from excessive play.
Summary of this MGB has a charm that can"t be denied, harking back to the glory days of British roadsters.
This particular MGB is in very good condition, with straight rust-free panels and interior that was well maintained.
