Up for sale a 1978 MGB . Motor has been rebuilt, Bored .040 over new pistons and rings,crankshaft and cam shaft journals were polished, line-bored camshaft beds, new cam and main bearings, new valve springs, emissions delete plugs in head, Accuspark electronic ignition kit, dual SU carbs, header and 2 inch exhaust all the way back.Fuel sending unit was replaced and also has electric fuel pump. Valve cover gasket replaced two weeks ago when valves were adjusted. Car has plenty of bottom end torque but no overdrive.Fun car to drive. Has 91 miata seats that have been recovered with black vinyl to match interior. New door panels, recovered front and back kick panels, carpet was replaced a couple of years ago, its is black with red piping ordered from England. It has Aluminum center steel outer basket weave wheels with enough offset to make it look mean and a front airdam with a grill from a 71 MGB. The front turn signals, side marker light, and side trim have been deleted from the the car. The convertible top was replaced last year. The car is not perfect and does need some things. Its was built to drive not a show car. The Bad- Needs front brake pads needs alt. belt The paint is showing age and needs to be redone electric cooling fan motors need replaced (one works but bearing is going out and the other the bearing is gone and it screams when running has been unhooked) Gas tank has surface rust in it so the fuel filter needs changed often. The front passanger tire needs replaced (other three have been replaced)
