Vehicle description
Nice Clean Original Condition; Two owner 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V Coupe with dual exhaust and optional 460 V-8. Gorgeous Metallic Ocean Blue exterior was nicely re-done on factory warranty by Lincoln dealer due to paint flaking shortly after it sold new. Always garaged, no rust, nice chrome and trim, super straight body.
All Original Baby Blue leather interior, factory light blue carpeting, original vinyl roof, opera windows, humped trunk, signature hood ornament, chrome grille is flanked by hidden headlights.
W ill go as fast as you want on the freeway steering with just one finger. Sold new to Drs. wife in CdA Idaho, I was told while wearing her white mink coat she got it washed weekly and or serviced while she waited at the dealership. I was also told she drove it to Boise and back once a month for years to visit her daughter. I bought it from her estate about 8 years ago, have not driven it much, only bought because I always wanted a nice 70"s Lincoln Coupe. This car won second place peoples choice award at a local car show two years ago. Based on sales data nice 78 big block Mark V"s value is $15k to $30k. Factor in this Lincoln"s overall originality plus its rare desirable colors and this Coupe is priced at a very fair buy it now. S elling only due to I recently retired, have sold off most of my car collection, and its time to pass this beauty on to another caring owner. Selling as is, no warranty, no trades and thanks but do not need any help selling.
Every time I take it out people smile. .I feel like John Gotti waving back in my big Mafia looking Lincoln.
