The Combi provided that all important extra room for extended trips and for goods and wares. Powered by the 1.2L VAZ-2101 I4 cylinder engine, the Combi was just as fun to drive as your sedan version. The surprisingly roomy interior offers everyone ample leg and headroom and the larger wagon storage space can accommodate luggage for 5 adults with no problems. Unhinge the rear seats and the cargo space becomes cavernous. The Lada is a simple machine to operate and to keep running. A must have when traversing the wide openness of Soviet Russia. This Lada has been meticulously maintained and is in very impressive mechanical and cosmetic condition. The interior seats and surfaces retain their original character and offer a comfortable driving position and the seats are springy and comfortable, easily soak up the roughest of road conditions. The steering is responsive and provides ample feel of the road. The gear selection is sharp and gears are engaged easily. All of the controls, switches, and gauges work as designed and, like all Soviet automobiles, the heater is amazing. Included in the Combi is the factory original tool kit and first aid box.
