This 1978 Jeep CJ-7 was purchased from Columbia, South Carolina in early 2016 and has remained garage preserved as seen by the images and is absent rain/snow/off road usage throughout my ownership. It is powered by the factory 304 V-8 (as noted by "H" in the VIN code sequence), the transmission is a T-18 4 speed and the front axle is a Dana 30 whilst the rear an AMC 20. The interior features Bestop seats front and rear as well as Eastwood Xmat under the carpeting as a heat deflector and sound deadener. Audio components include a JBL Bluetooth head unit, Rockford Fosgate Marine Amplifier, Kicker Speakers in the front pod, Wet Sounds sound bar out back and a Kenwood externally powered subwoofer fills in the lows. Mechanically the CJ accelerates, shifts, steers, drives and brakes as it should. A Holley Red Electric fuel pump solves vapor lock issues (which are notorious in these vehicles). The exhaust system is custom fabricated and installed by Pop"s in Manchester, Ct. complete w/ cast iron exhaust manifolds (no leaks). Jeep includes its full metal doors and hardtop. When I purchased the Jeep it had been repainted in black, original color was white. Jeep will be furnished with a Bill of Sale as the State of Connecticut doesn"t issue titles after a vehicle is older than 10 years, however your state (if not Ct.) may issue you a title when registering, check with your DMV; Jeep is registered and insured in Connecticut.
