About this vehicle This 1978 GMC K1500 is a restomod with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes I have over 40K invested and have almost every receipt. Hate to see her go but on to the next toy. Vehicle Details 1978 GMC K1500 Sierra Grande. I took a pic of the VIN. I have had the vehicle 3 years. Installed an electronic gauge cluster that can be customized. New front end was installed prior to me purchasing. The truck has little to no rust and is truly an amazing vehicle. Some light rust on bed of truck that I have included pics. All the work was professionally done by Ben Stanton at Beach mechanical. I have known Ben for many years and I doubt I could find a more honest mechanic. Integrity beyond measure. I will try to upload a video as well. Zero mechanical issues. This vehicle will run forever. Beautiful short bed square body. Not original paint and I would give it a 7/10. Floors pans are clean as well as the rocker panels. Small dent or crimp in hood. I have braced it but that would be my next repair. NO air conditioning. Bench seat re-upholstery completed last year. New door panels as well. Dash has minor cracking and sun fading. No carpet. Electrical system in good repair, it has been checked recently. Bumpers and chrome are good. I have never towed anything with the vehicle. Has steel towing plate on rear. Exterior Interior Engine LS 5.3 aluminum block, studded, stage 3 heads and cam with a new transfer case and 4L60E that has been completely re manufactured, FITEC EFI and whole new fuel system. Stell braided lines and the fuel sensor from a new corvette ZO6 and has perfect firmest. Download the Motors app
