78 Pinto bought by my Dad in 88 (work car), 69 302 4bbl, C4 installed in 95 or 96. Car was painted, seats reupholsterd, interior painted. Only body work was external, around the rear fenders and floor pans in the rear. All suspension mounting was solid, this car was not all rusted out, no repairs on front fenders or rockers. New rear tires.This car probably only has 5000 mi. since it was done. This car has not seen any type of road spray in at least 20 yrs. Hood was recently painted, it"s a little brighter than the rest of the car. There is a small hole in the headliner by passenger visor (picture) It was always there. The dash lights in the instrument cluster don"t work, the plastic is cracked where the plug goes in and won"t hold the plug tight enough. The speedometer works, I put a fuel gauge on column next to tach. Car has your basic oil pressure, water temp, voltmeter, also oil temp with switch to select engine or tranny. The trans. Is dripping slightly out of the shifter shaft, when it sits around. Car has original rear in it, probably a drawback to some. I have run it pretty hard at times, watch your launches. Car can be left alone or take it to the next level. Decent entry level street car, gets attention at any cruise in.
