Vehicle description
1978 Ford F-150 regular cab long bed with a 77" grill. Truck has the 400 small block, NP435 4 speed transmission, NP 205 transfer case, Dana 60 front axle, and Ford 9" rear. 4.10 gears front and back. The truck was pretty rough when I got it and I"ve been taking care of it since. Did not have a dash in it when I bought it, so mileage is unknown. Truck runs and drives great, and the 4x4 works great as well. Shifts smooth but occasionally grinds into 2nd when downshifting. Not an original AC truck, but previous owner had an AC dash to go with that I cleaned up and installed. Heat works great. Bluetooth radio works as it should. I installed new floor pans as the originals were rotted through, and used Kilmat sound deadener on top as well. Cab is in really good shape as far as rust is concerned, but the bed needs a bit of love. DOES NOT HAVE DRIP RAIL RUST! Frame is in great shape. I was in the process of finishing up replacing the rotted body panels but don"t have the time anymore.
I have several brand new sheet metal patches from National Parts Depot that will come with the truck as well as 2 spare doors and the new sheet metal to patch the bottom of those as well. Also have an anti rattle kit for the doors, and new seals as well. Will come with an original steel bumper, powder coated black, and 2 extra fenders that are in perfect shape.
