I’m helping out military guy who moved, truck was notrunning and has been sitting for well over a year. It was a situation where he got it from hisgrandfather so I can’t tell you a lot of history, it’s an older paint job and I’mguessing engine rebuild and upgrades to the serpentine. Radiator is a new aluminum. There is rust. Floor boards were rusted and there’s bubbling on the bed corners andsome around the cab to windshield corners. I had to drop the gas tank to get rid of the old gas. Replaced thesending unit and filler hose. Did someelectrical work, all lights are working, gauges are working and interior isclean. Runs good, 302 engine with Holleymanual choke. Drives fine, brakes arespongy, I would question the transmission, seems to shift fine, but felt it wasslipping on acceleration. It’s a factoryA/C truck, everything is there but don’t think it has a charge. I changed out the temperature control cable,fan works, heat works. Other items thatwill need to be worked – rear yoke seal should be changed I see that it dripswhen driven, should have a diff fluid change also. Looks like the front main seal is dripping when warmed up. I changed oil and should have replaced drainplug seal because I see that is now dripping. You get the drift, needs to be driven, some TLC, and would be a gooddaily driver. Tires are pretty new. I have the clean Texas title for it.
