Vehicle description
Please do not purchase the world famous "Ariete Death Truck" . . thank you,
Many more pics available ! Just contact me at sales at ramlite dot com.
This was purchased by one half of Ramlite LLC (inventors and makers of handgun magnetic laser and lights) back in 2001. . that would be me Dan Hotchin. Ron (the othr half ) made this a prepper truck so it would be hard to see in the desert (tan wheelcovers supplied), chrome painted black. This was upgraded with a rear canvas cover and support structure with fold out map table etc and all sorts of other gizmos only a Honeywell gun-loving engineer could come up with. We used it as a promo truck for Ramlite for a while since it is such a head-turner. THIS GETS ATTENTION !
I will add more info over the course of the next few days. . . let"s start right now ! brakes rebuilt, new fuel pump, new master cylinder 2 years ago (been stood since) THE MOTOR PURRS AND IS BEAUTIFUL, low mileage on this costly motor. I will try and get info on how many miles the crate motor has done since being installed. VIDEO LINK TO YOUTUBE SOON - listen to the gurgle of that 400M motor. New motor computer unit in transit. The old one works perfectly but some good "ol boy neighbors came over and reminisced about their F-150"s in the day and they said "get a new "puter and put it under the driver"s seat!".
DOES NOT OVERHEAT ! I drove it 20 miles today for the first time in 3 years and it the needle does not move. It was 112 F in AZ today.
More info to come. . just watch this ad.
SECRET* * Actually trying to keep this for me because it has sentimental value related to the Ramlite story, my wife and me (yes correct grammar, I"m English so I should know) are just about to sell our house for $300k profit so when that happens I can get this truck into a good shop and spend $7500 on it and have something really cool. . if my wife calms the nagging down I can get away with my secret plan and keep this unique truck. I am the other half of Ramlite by the way, the younger Englishman living here in Phoenix, AZ since 2010. . .okay I mentioned that above, sorry.
BUT STOP WAIT - have fun - enjoy. If you offer me lots of cash I will let you take it but really that is not going to happen so just enjoy the pics and think of the Stephen King movie from 1983 called Christine. . .we call it the "Ariete Death Truck" . . (Ramlite was named Ariete from 2009-2011) or we could call him "Christopher" since I feel this beast is male and it relates to Christine , you know what I mean.
. .also go to google images and type in "magnetic laser sight" yup that"s us, me and Ron, the only people ever to do it, yes you can own our truck, well not if I can avoid that. I am trying to avoid that. The two wives (Ron and mine) are forcing us to sell it but we are holding out so hard, so hard. Yup we"re holding out hard. Nothing less than $5k will buy this so put your money back under the mattress. Tee hee.
