Truck is being relisted, buyer never contacted me. So here we go again, if you are bidding and I contact you before the end of the auction, please respond or I will cancel your bid. I’m helping out military guy who moved, truck was not running and has been sitting for well over a year. It was a situation where he got it from his grandfather so I can’t tell you a lot of history, it’s an older paint job and I’m guessing engine rebuild and upgrades to the serpentine. Radiator is a new aluminum. There is rust. Floor boards had rust holes but a patch panel was put over the top and there’s bubbling on the bed corners and around the cab to windshield corners and driver side drip rail. I had to drop the gas tank to get rid of the old gas. Replaced the sending unit and filler hose. Did some electrical work, all lights are working, gauges are working and interior is clean. Runs good, 302 engine with Holley manual choke. Drives fine, brakes are spongy, I would question the transmission, seems to shift fine, but felt it was slipping on acceleration. It’s a factory A/C truck, everything is there but don’t think it has a charge. I changed out the temperature control cable, fan works, heat works. Other items that will need to be worked – rear yoke seal should be changed I see that it drips when driven, should have a diff fluid change also. Looks like the front main seal is dripping when warmed up. I changed oil and should have replaced drain plug seal because I see that is now dripping. You get the drift, needs to be driven, some TLC, and would be a good daily driver. Tires are pretty new. I have the clean Texas title for it.
