Beautiful 1978 Fiat Spider Body is rust free and absolutely straight, repainted approximately 8 years ago. A few blemishes in the paint but overall an 8/10. Tires are new,(two weeks old,balanced). The car was also aligned at the time. New fuel pump and solenoid. It was a one owner car until I purchased it a year ago. Unfortunately the previous owner didn’t keep any service history. Drives perfect. Accelerates smoothly, handles well, cruises on the highway at 75mph with no problems. Never overheats. Brakes have been rebuilt in past few years, clutch shifts smoothly into all gears. No synchro problems in any gear. Interior generally good condition. A couple of split seams in the drivers seat, passenger seat is excellent. Door panels are like new. Two minor cracks in the dash. All electrics work (including clock) Heater, fan, turn signals, interior light, wipers, high and low beams, back up lights, radio and brake lights. A few things that may need addressing. Some surface rust on bumper bars, very minor surface rust underneath. A few minor oil leaks, ( haven"t seen a classic fiat that doesn"t). If one wants to a new cambox gasket would probably fix most of the minor leaking problem. Please ask ANY questions before bidding. This is a 40year old car and is being sold AS IS.
