Vehicle description
Clean Florida title in hand. It starts and runs well. Matching numbers engine. Braking system redone (flexible hoses, rear calipers, compensator. .) Rebuilt original Weber carburetor with automatic water choke. Rebuilt distributor with 2 new sets of breaker points and condensers Soft top and interiors are in good condition except a small rip on driver seat. And even a back seat for kids or extra luggage. Some rust on lower PASSENGER front fender and PASSENGER rocker panel. I just had the driver side rocker panel replaced. Rocker panel - FIAT 124 Spider, Spider 2000 and Pininfarina 1966-1985 - Driver (left) side - Made of sturdy ABS plastic - paintable - will never rust https:/ autoricambi.us/products/rocker-panel-driver-side-abs All the instruments work. The clock is in working condition and has a foggy lens. The heater works. The muffler has a small hole and it will need to be replaced. I would recommend the new owner to replace the timing belt and adjust valve clearance . It comes with the boot for convertible top, original tools and owner"s manual. Please do your homework before contacting me. It is 40 years old and priced accordingly. IT IS NOT A CONCOURS CAR. Prices on Spiders were up nearly 15 percent last year alone, and seem likely to continue to increase. It is not a concourse car, but a drivable and enjoyable car ! !
