1978 MAGNUM XE E58 T BAR TOP. . NO RESERVE! The unicorn Magnum. If you are looking you already know, this car is RARE. In fact, only 191 E58 cars were produced for "78. California desert car with very little rust anywhere. Even the trunk looks great. The car is all original and unmolested under the hood with the original NUMBERS MATCHING HP 360 4 barrel Police interceptor engine. Original Thermoquad with all vacuum lines correct and original. Has A36 package which includes aux. trans. cooler, power steering cooler, tow package, trac loc rear end, (posi) D36 non lock up Heavy duty 727 Torque Flight Transmission. Transmission has higher shift points than the typical stock ones. Center console with Corinthian leather bucket seats. Body is straight, only one small dent on drivers side front fender. See pics. Interior needs attn. The steering column is not original. Power bucket seats need recovered etc. Exhaust needs muffler, currently open so it"s LOUD. This is the last factory muscle car from Dodge, with Nascar history, Magnum"s are very collectible and will only go up in value. I was surprised to hear the slight lope of a performance camshaft inside! Specifications indicate it is the same bumpstick as used in the 1970 340 six pack"s! Specs. for the 360 4 barrel (E58) Hydraulic cam, 430/444 268/276. Strange. This is 1978 after all. T ail light lens on drivers side is new old stock and I have not attempted to glue it to the old cracked light bucket. Will leave that up to the buyer and you will receive the new lens safely boxed and in the trunk. Clear pink in hand. currently registered non op. Feel free to call any time for more info.
