About this vehicle This 1978 Datsun 280Z is a restomod with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details Last sale did not go through, trying this again. 1978 Datsun 280Z. This car has been hardly driven since we owned it. Been mostly garage kept and has never been exposed to any harsh weather. These pictures aren’t the best, and I’ll do my best to get you better pictures. Car runs and drives, body is straight, rust free, and is insanely fast. The engine in this car is a rebuilt L28ET from a 1982 Datsun 280ZX. Previous owner rebuilt the engine. The engines harness and ecu has been upgraded to Megasquirt MS2 from Godzilla raceworks. The fuel system has been upgraded includes Pallnet Fuel Rail, AN fittings, Aeromotive Fuel Regulator w/ Gauge, NEW Bosch EV6 440cc Injectors and Bosch 044 320LPH fuel pump. 240SX throttle body with Godzilla spacer. Has Godzilla blocker plates all around. Custom 3 inch exhaust with a magnaflow muffler. Has a 4 row aluminum radiator with twin electric fans. Water pump, oil pump and alternator was replaced. Polyurethane motor mounts. The transmission is a close ratio 5 speed with a 3-90 rear end. Has an aluminum flywheel, with a stage 2 clutch kit. All the suspension is brand new, with upgraded polyurethane bushings. Has brand new coil over kit all around. Has a big brake kit up front and stock drums in the rear. Has a set of Equip Work wheels 15x9 in front and 15x10 in the rear. Interior has new rug and sound deadening all around. New rubber and weather stripping. All glass has no cracks or chips, and has been tinted. Car can run on AC if you connect all the lines. Paint was painted the original color with a satin finish. The car has no dents. The whole underbody has been sprayed with anti-rust undercoating. I might be missing a few more details and parts. The car is located in Tucson. This car is a resto mod, and is not perfect.
