I am selling my 1978 Jeep CJ5, with a full fiberglass body that has been rhino lined inside and out. Everything on the Jeep today is in great mechanical working order. It"s is reliable and can be driven every day. This jeep steers, handles as it should. The original 3 Speed manual transmission (T-150 has been re-built) Dana 20 Transfer case (has been re-built) and AMC 4.2L (re-built) with Ford 2100 carburetor and HEI ignition, it runs strong. Smitty-built sure step, Warn lockers, hydraulic clutch, locking console, stereo & speakers, water temp, oil pressure & volt gauge (Digital) all work as they should. New GPS driven speedometer added for correct MPH readout (due to 35"" tires). The brakes are in good condition (disc in front and drum in the back). There is a gear box support brace from Box to frame and a rough country front shock added. Front end tie rods, ball joints, Polyurethane bushings, all in great condition. This Jeep has a front sway bar for better handling. This CJ drives super Nice. The Jeep has a Dana 30 front and Dana 20 rear (4:10 gears) The Jeep is fitted with a 4 inch spring over suspension lift. (Done correct, front set at 6 degree). A set of 35’’ Mickey Thompson tires installed on Jeep with good tread. Great tires for street and off road use. Best SUPER TOP with Full doors installed on Jeep. The jeep comes with a back seat not shown in the pictures. The wipers, blinkers, hazards, break lights, horn, headlights, emergency brake all work. The 4 Wheel drive is in great Working order. Motor burns super clean, no exhaust smoke, no Rattles, motor sounds great. Cooling system has new coolant, aluminum radiator, no heating issues in this CJ. This CJ Jeep is garaged at my home today.
