Vehicle description
Vehicle Details Up for sale is a 1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500 with very low miles. Only 17,133 original miles are on the car and it looks like new. Stored for many years, only started periodically to keep it lubed. Originally the ant bought the car and seldom drove it and never in the rain or bad weather. Then she passed and it was given to her nephew, a car guy that put it storage. Then he passed and his brother got the car. Then this brother put the car in storage for 5 more years, again only starting the car periodically. We pulled the car out of storage and all it needed was a wipe down, Brake fluid added, clutch fluid also added, then I drove it around the block, put it in my shop and looked at a like new Triumph. The car is as it was when new. Paint is bright, (no chips or dings). Interior looks like new and the engine compartment also looks very nice with only a small amount of corrosion around the master and clutch cylinders. (please look at the pictures closely) (this car is in amazing condition) The only thing I saw was a spot on the soft top where it glues to the front of the frame that is louse. (very small) We did not take of the hard top for fear of taring the rubber moldings. (yes a hard top) This car is a 4 speed with overdrive and it starts easy and runs strong. All components work as they should but the radio is scratchy sounding. All lights work and tires look very good. The original Tonneau cover and top boot look new and do come with the car as dose the original owners manual. One rear wheel cylinder is leaking and will need to be changed. I ordered a new cylinder from Moss Motors and it will be with the car. I'm listing this little Triumph for the brother and will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can. For your questions please call Bill (208)750-0000 Images Download the Motors app
