Well, here we go! I bought this car from California about 10 years ago and she underwent an extensive restoration / customization with basically no cost spared. The engine was changed from fuel injection to carburetor. The highlights are as follows: Custom 7 layer paint, Inferno Pearl Red Custom upholstery, Chalk White New Convertible Top, Chalk White Custom Dash, Chalk White w/ tacho, oil temp and clock New wood steering wheel New Carpet w/ noise reducing underlayment throughout All new rubber seals 195/60-15 tires on original German ATS rims New 1600cc DP engine (app. 1200 miles) build by Air Cooled Engineering, now Blackline Racing, LLC in Utah New Carb - 30 PICT and distributor restored by Vintage Werks ( www.vintagewerks.com ) Bored for full flow and equipped with oil filter Lowered and stiffened front end w/ custom coil springs and new bushings, etc. Completely rebuild floor pan, protected in POR 15 Wherever possible, the original German parts were restored and reused All new brake system incl. new calipers and discs All chrome redone Unfortunately, a small mishap led to some small scratches on the front left fender (see picture). All in all, I would give the car an 8.5 to 9 out of 10 Well, if you are interested, contact me with your questions and we can talk.
