1977 Porsche 924 . $1,000 dollar price drop. I need the space . Condition is Used. I originally purchased this vehicle as a project car. The engine is pretty well all sorted. Next I was going to work on the interior and then have it painted. However, I new project has come up and that is why I am selling. The engine is tight with no leaks what-so-ever and is nicely detailed. All fluids and filters have been replaced including, oil, coolant flush and brake fluid. New items installed include. . Battery, terminals and ground wire Fuel pump Fuel filter Fuel line from gas tank to fuel pump Fuel Accumulator Air filter Silicon Vacuum lines Vacuum assist module Distributor MSD Master Blaster coil Spark plugs Kingsborne spark plug wires Shifter seal Gearshift Lever Thermostat Axle seal Oil pressure sensor Timing Belt Porsche head - cleaned, grind valves, mill head, head gasket, head bolts The car will also include many new and used parts not yet installed, which include. New - Rear brake drums New - 4 Stainless steel fuel lines New - Water pump New - Sunroof seal Used - center console Used - 6 x 9 speakers (2) Used - VR3 powered subwoofer Used - cold start valve Full disclosure: The car needs one new cooling fan. The other one works fine. Car is difficult to start cold and needs a new cold start valve. I purchased a used one, which I will include. Dash cover has a crack. The paint has some stone chips and one very small rust spot at the bottom of the drivers door. Will be easy to repair. The AC is all there but does not work. It didn"t work when I purchase the car and I had no intention of repairing it. Interior needs some work, depending on your personal comfort level. The odometer reads 72753, but only works occasionally. It was this way when I bought the car. From what I can make out, it"s probably closer to 90K. The good news: Good brakes, good tires, wheels and full size spare. Also has a working Sony CDX radio and CD player. The car is great fun to drive and handles wonderfully. Can easily be a daily driver. However, I would still call this a project car, even thought most of the heavy lifting has already been done. Don"t expect a 100 point concours winner. Priced to sell.
