1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 liter Targa SUPER RARE OAK GREEN/GREEN only 365 built in 77
RMC Miami is now offering for your consideration this very rare 1977 Porsche 911 Euro Carrera 3.0L Targa. The Carrera 3.0 were built between 1976-1977 for the European Market only. The other models in the 911 line up the standard 911 with a 2.7 liter engine and the 911/930 Turbo.
The Carrera 3.0 has an evolution of the 930 engine but naturally aspirated. During its short two year life span, only 3687 Carrera 3.0 liter cars were built and this one is only one of 365 LHD Targa cars made in 1977. Factory LHD with the original matching numbers motor and trans are still with it and showing 130k km witch is about only 76,000 miles
Our 911 is finished in Oak Green Metallic exterior and interior to sample green. This green/green combination was a favorite and used always by Ferdinand Porsche in his personal cars. This Euro Carrera 3.0 has incredible vintage street presence. It is rust free and very well preserved. Body lines are super straight with no evidence of any accidents and floors are solid as seen in photos.
The interior is in very good overall condition. the green door panels show well dash has some minor warping, which is normal on these older 911"s. Driver seat has a small cut in the seam as seen in photos. Other than this all seats inside are in clean condition not worn out and very comfortable to go long distances in.
Engine is in good running condition. The power band is very linear and it pulls through the gears effortlessly. Clutch is soft and very easy to drive. Transmission does not grind going into any gear and does not suffer from any pop outs. Synchros are super smooth.
