Vehicle Details 1977 MG MGB with working overdrive has approximately 82,000 miles. I have owned this car for 2 years and put less than 500 miles on the clock. This car has straight body, recent Sandglow yellow paintwork, recent seat covers in tan with new foam, excellent black top, black top boot, a black carpeted trunk, four very good matching tires, Weber carb, and after-market exhaust manifold. The car runs and drives well. The transmission shifts and down shifts well without grinding, and overdrive works properly. Since I have not been driving the car, the battery is dead, and it is currently running with an electronic booster(not included). Ignition light is flickering at idle, and I think car will need a battery. The B leaks a bit of oil, like most MGs. I've had the car on a raised rack, and the underside appears good with expected surface rust only. There is the typical MGB crack on the driver's side door next to the mirror, a bit of surface rust on body seam between fender top and bulkhead, but no rust through or rust patches. Since car was painted before I purchased the car, I do not know the condition under the paintwork. Paint could use buffing as it looks a bit flat on the trunk, but again, the car has been sitting under cover. Sun visors need replacement and I am including a new set I bought for the car, along with a new tan set of door cards, and new Mountey leather steering wheel with hub. Radio was working, but it does not work now. This is no show car, but it is a very presentable MGB with coveted overdrive transmission. My reserve is less than I paid for the car. Car has clear Texas Title in my name. Car is sold where is, as is, with no warranty implied. Call me on my cell at 214.914.1783 with any questions.
