Vehicle description
1977 MGB Convertible - Completely Original - 32,379 Fully Documented Miles
This is a completely original 1977 MGB Convertible that is in absolutely beautiful condition! The car runs perfectly, shifts smoothly and everything is in excellent working condition. The car has the original Sand Glow/Autumn Leaf paint,
has never had any body work and is completely rust free.
It is complete with the original top, parade boot, tonneau cover, spare tire, jack and tool kit that are all in excellent condition. The tires are less than two years old and have approx. 500 miles. This MGB needs nothing and is ready to show, drive and enjoy. It is very rare to find in one in this condition.
We purchased the MGB from the original owner here in Quincy, IL after her husband passed away. She purchased new on May 19, 1977 in Englewood, Colorado where it spent 24 years of its life. She and her husband then retired and moved to Quincy, IL. in 2001. Prior to 2001, all maintenance was done at the dealership and after 2001, all maintenance was performed by Bob Askins (our area British car specialist).
The originality as well as the mileage is fully documented as we have every record for the car since it was new. These include the original window sticker and purchase agreement, all service and maintenance records since new, and the yearly inspection reports when in Colorado. Also included are the original owners manual, workshop manual and any additional manuals when new.
This is a must see if you are looking for an original MGB. Please contact me either via message or call at 217-306-4064 if you have any questions or would like to come and see the car.
Thanks so much for your interest!
