Vehicle description
This 1977 MGB has recently undergone a complete, documented, multi-year restoration. The car was taken completely apart and everything was either rebuilt, refurbished and/or replaced. Rebuilt engine, Transmission, New Wiring Harness, New Leather Interior, New Carpeting, New Convertible Top, New Tonneau Cover, (Needs to be Fitted), New Tires, New Brakes, etc. . etc. . , and the list goes on and on. The person who restored this car spared no expense, and in his case, it was indeed a labor of Love. Several Upgrades were also made to the car during the restoration process. Twin SU Carbs have replaced the stock single Stromberg Carburetor. The Leather interior kit alone was close to $2500. As you can see from the photo"s, it also has the highly desirable Wire Wheels. The car looks practically brand new! From the Engine Compartment to the underside of thecar, from the Interior to the Exterior, this car looks Immaculate and is in Outstanding condition! The Original Clock even works! To have an MGB restored to this level of restoration would more than likely cost you between $20-$25,000 and take from 1-2 years to complete. That"s only if you could find a competent Mechanic who knows Brtitish Cars, and was able to fit you into his busy schedule. This car runs great, shifts as it should, and drives and handles as it should. It has the 4-speed Manual Transmission WITHOUT the Overdrive. This car has less than 300 Miles on it since it"s restoration, and has been well sorted out and is ready to drive and enjoy. This car isn"t perfect. It has a few small paint chips that you can see if you look hard enough, But you"ll have to look long and hard to find another one in this condition at anywhere near this price! It is indeed a pleasurable and fun car to drive! At $10,500 this car is a steal and is ready to hit the backroads with the top down and enjoy the great fall Colors!
